This barn was standing alone in the middle of a Palouse wheat field in the long shadows of the setting sun

This was taken at sunset with cross lighting using my Mamiya 7 and Fuji Velvia 50. It very much represents the look and feel of Palouse.
Freeze Church
Potlatch, Idaho is home to the Freeze Community Church founded in 1889. While touring the Palouse area I didn’t expect to be photographing churches but this was too good to pass up.
Dahmen Barn Wheels
This is the first of several photos I will be posting of the Palouse area. The Dahmen Barn is in Union Town, Washington and the property is fenced with various wheels from old farm equipment. The fields have been harvested and what you’re seeing in the background is the stubble which remains.
