The virus has basically stoped my travels for the last year or so. But now starting to get out a bit. I recently drove to Jackson Hole and was able to get several good photos including one of my favorite subjects. I’ve taken hundreds of shots of the barn and each of them are different depending on time of year, weather, time of day etc.
Landscapes of the American West
Early Red
Depending on your location and the time of year the rising sun can create some real drama.
Reflection Canyon
Early mornings on Lake Powell are so tranquil. There has been no watercraft traffic or winds to stir up the water.
West Canyon
Duck Bay
Duck Bay is found on the northeast end of Payette Lake in McCall, Idaho.
Walk on the Moon
Craters of the Moon
This fall we took a driving trip to Wyoming and Idaho. One of the stops was Craters of the Moon National Park. This little known park is located Northeast of Idaho Falls. It was a dreary day with constant rain falling. Used a plastic bag to shield the camera.
Beaver Pond
This beaver pond is between Fish Creek and the Snake River south of Jackson Hole, WY
Great Bear Lake Cabin
Our most recent adventure was a road trip through parts of Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. When leaving Logan, UT using highway 89 it takes you to Great Bear Lake. The lake straddles Utah and Idaho. This old cabin was on the Idaho side
Field of Color
This field of wildflowers is just north of Shell Creek Road.
