The virus has basically stoped my travels for the last year or so. But now starting to get out a bit. I recently drove to Jackson Hole and was able to get several good photos including one of my favorite subjects. I’ve taken hundreds of shots of the barn and each of them are different depending on time of year, weather, time of day etc.

Top of the Mountain
We recently spent a few days in Park City, Utah. Took the chair lift up. Looks a lot different in the summer with no snow.

This is the view when leaving the Old Town port. The fortress walls are to the right of the photo.
Fortica
In the center top you can see Fortica. The Byzantines built a citadel here in the 6th century, and the Venetians began construction of the present fortress in 1278. It was strengthened in 1551, which may have saved the lives of Hvar’s population, who sheltered here in 1571 when the Turks sacked their town. The Austrians renovated it in the 19th century, adding barracks. Inside there’s a collection of ancient amphorae recovered from the seabed, and a terrace cafe.
Venice Sunrise
We had a couple of days in Venice on our way to Croatia and was up early to get the skyline and the Grand Canal.
